City of Talisay Conducted Basic Life Support Training

Basic Life Support Training last July 15, 2017 at Talisay City Health Office. It was conducted by GTO training personnel to give significant techniques and ideas to our Doctors, Staff Nurse, and even our Ambulance drivers for them to provide professional medical care to the patient.

Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon, MD -City Health Office discussed the importance of Basic Life Support to the City Health Office personnel.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the primary medical aid provided to a person in an emergency medical situation. This procedure can prove to be very helpful when it comes to saving the life of an individual. It is important to understand that the objective of BLS is not to ‘treat’ the person but to buy some valuable time until the emergency medical aid arrives.

This training was highly participated by the #gwapongaserbisyo and the City Health Office headed by Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon MD, Dr Raul V. Fama and Madellaine Cabarubias Medical Officer V to give us the reminder of how important the Basic Life Support training to everybody.
