Talisay City Conferred 2017 Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping in DILG Official List, All Metro Third LGUs also Included

Congratulations to Mayor Neil Lizares, Vice Mayor Sam Siote and the Talisay Sangguniang Panlungsod for the inclusion of the City of Talisay in the Good Financial Housekeeping Official List of 2017 Passers dated as of October 6, 2017 of the Bureau of Local Goverment Supervision (BLGS) of the Department of Interior and Local Goverment as certified by LGOO V,LGPMD Alfred V. Mamuyac, Chief, LGPMD Girlie M. Zara and CESO III, Director BLGS Manuel Q. Gotis.

Also, congratulations to the Municipalities of Murcia and EB Magalona and the Cities of Silay and Victorias for all being passers in the Good Finacial Housekeeping list.

As one of the three core component of the Seal of Good Local Government (SGLG) Award, the Good Financial Housekeeping (formerly the Seal of Good Housekeeping) is conferred to a local government unit (LGU) that exhibits compliance with accounting and auditing standards, rules and regulations, i.e., with an Unqualified or Qualified COA Opinion of the immediately preceding year; as well as Compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy of Local Budget and Finances, Bids and Public Offerings e.g., Annual Budget, Statement of Receipts and Expenditures, Annual Procurement Plan or Procurement List, and Bid Results On Civil Works. Goods and Services and Consulting Services, among others.
