A total of P340,650 pesos fund for the first transportation allowance for the last quarter of this year intended for 757 Person with Disability Beneficiaries was released by the City Government of Talisay.

Mayor Neil in his message expressed how grateful he is for having served the PWD community of the City and of how they have inspired him to do his best, thus he is making all the efforts and means to provide for all the assistance and support that the city could offer.

Transportation Allowance for Talisay PWDs Program of the City, is initially scheduled to kick off and supposed to be released on the first quarter of next year, hence Mayor Neil opted to give it earlier this year for our PWD beneficiaries. The City of Talisay thru the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Office still accept non - registered PWDs to enlist to the said program.

PWDs who are present were given Orientation on R.A. 9442 and R.A. 7277 otherwise known as the Act Amending the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons"
