P135M global campus to rise at new Talisay site

After more than a year of waiting, the P135 million Negros Occidental Language Information Technology Center (NOLITC) Global Campus will soon be a reality.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for NOLITC Global Campus Held

Gov. Bong Lacson led in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Negros Occ. Language and IT Center (NOLITC) Global Campus at Hda. Manaul, Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, today.

The campus will have an Admin Building that include classrooms and conference halls, Foreign Language Building, and Administrator’s Office Building.

Talisay mayor urges Bacolod hospitals to coordinate with LGUs on Covid-19 patients

TALISAY City Mayor Neil Lizares has urged all hospitals in Bacolod City to coordinate with local government units relative to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients.

The call of Lizares, posted on the Facebook page of the Talisay Public Information Office, comes after a health worker identified as Patient No. 30 tested positive for coronavirus.

TALISAY City, Negros Occidental Mayor Neil Lizares is appealing to all Talisaynons not to panic after he confirmed that four bikers from the city and a four-year-old boy were among the new patients who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

"I am at loss for words right now but I know that we will continue to thrive as we did in the past months. Despite today’s news, please let us not panic. Instead, let us be vigilant more than ever," Lizares said.

Talisay City's Patient Nos. 5 to 8 are all bikers who had close contact with Patient No. 3.
