Mayor Neil Lizares with the Talisay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (TCDRRMO) headed by Executive Assistant Spyxe Gutierrez deliver the brand new Isuzu Traviz Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) to Barangay Bubog with Punong Barangay Ricky Veraye, mindful that a readily available PTV during times of emergency is key and can mean the difference in saving the life of a patient.

In preparing for the rainy days, the City of Talisay under the leadership of Mayor Neil Lizares installs 2 Sentry Siren 3V8-H-B model outdoor warning sirens located at the Talisay Public Plaza and the other one at the Talisay City Hall with a 3,400 ft. estimated coverage radius/effective range, considered as one of the most effective ways to inform the public of dangerous severe weather conditions and other emergencies also used in tornado-prone US states like Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas, Missouri, and Iowa.

The City of Talisay has registered a historic feat in terms of growth in local revenue generation with cumulative business tax assessments as of the 2nd quarter of the calendar year 2022 amounting to Php68,036,322.82 or a marked increase of Php10,912,421.61 which is 19% higher than the actual business tax collections for the immediate preceding calendar year (CY 2021).
