New Classrooms and Facilities Turned Over to Bubog Elementary School

Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares led the official turnover and blessing ceremony of 12 newly repaired classrooms and 10 brand new chalkboards at Bubog Elementary School on July 7. Funded through the city's Local School Board - Special Education Fund, the project aligns with the Gwapa nga Panghimanwa administration's ASENSO governance platform, which prioritizes accessible and quality public education.

The blessing of the facilities was led by Rev. Fr. Jorr Rabacal, OAR. Teacher-in-Charge Chariline Torres welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for the upgrades, noting that the rehabilitated spaces will significantly improve the daily learning and teaching environment.
The ceremony was attended by SP Member Martin Lizares and Executive Assistants Junjun Treyes, Saulo Lizares, and Wayne Faisan. The Department of Education (DepEd) Talisay Schools Division Office (SDO) was represented by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Jen Ann Rosal, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Noel Santillan, and Public School District Supervisors Dr. Myline Cornel (District I) and Romualdo Batallones (District II). Punong Barangay Ricky Veraye and local barangay officials were also present to support the community's primary educational hub.
