EQUIPPING DREAMS, TUNING TALENTS | Gwapa Nga Panghimanwa Empowers Concepcion Elementary School Students

Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares led the turnover of brand-new musical instruments, school bags, and educational supplies at Concepcion Elementary School today, August 14.

Formally accepted by OIC Hermigilda Pondales, the turnover featured:

  • 15 Drums & 15 Lyres for the school's Drum and Lyre Corps
  • 374 School Bags & Comprehensive Supply Sets for local learners

Under the Gwapa nga Panghimanwa framework, this initiative proves that holistic youth development goes beyond classroom learning. By investing in creative outlets alongside academic support, the city nurtures discipline, teamwork, and school pride among our young Talisaynons.

A Strong Community Alliance: The turnover was supported by city officials led by City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama, Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado, and SP Member Paul Leonard De Oca, alongside DepEd SDO Talisay leaders headed by OIC-SDS Dr. Jen-Ann Rosal, the Barangay Concepcion Council, Teachers' League, PTA, SELG, and Alumni officers.
