Highway Patrol Group Honors Talisay City for Road Safety and Operational Support

The Highway Patrol Group (HPG) paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares on July 6 to express gratitude for the city’s continued support of their operations.

During the meeting, PCOL Christine Tan (RC, RHPU NIR) and RESPO PEMS Luiminado Peña presented a token of appreciation to Mayor Lizares, acknowledging the local government's role in helping their unit fulfill its mandate.

Mayor Lizares thanked the officers and reaffirmed that supporting law enforcement remains a top priority for her administration. She pledged that the Gwapa nga Panghimanwa initiative will continue to fully assist the HPG, commending the group's dedication to maintaining peace, order, and road safety for all Talisaynons.

The HPG delegation was accompanied by the Talisay City Component Police Station team, led by PLTCOL Salvador Trono and Pat. Jennifer Miñoza. City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama, Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado, and Executive Assistants Wayne Faisan, Gorgonio Treyes III, and Saulo Lizares also joined the mayor in welcoming the officers.
