MAYOR NEIL LIZARES III MESSAGE - July 29, 2020

July 29, 2020

Please be informed that starting tomorrow, the New City Hall will be temporarily closed for a thorough disinfection. Business will proceed as usual on Monday, August 3, 2020.

This is in response to an unfortunate news that we received today with regard a resident of Bacolod City who tested positive for Covid-19. This person recently processed a business permit at the New City Hall. I would like to assure the Talisaynons who recently had transactions at the New City Hall that our employees are compliant with our safety protocols to the best of their ability. Thus, it is highly improbable for the patient to have infected other clients.

Just to make sure, even before clients steps in the New City Hall, strict health protocols are implemented, most importantly the wearing of mask. The body temperature of the client is also checked and the client is denied entry if his/her body temperature does not fall within what is normal. Our employees also make sure that each and every client's hands are disinfected by spraying ample amount of alcohol. Inside the New City Hall, strict physical distancing is observed in every office.

I would like to assure you all of your safety inside the New Talisay City Hall. You are protected here while you do your transactions. Please do not fear because your safety is our foremost priority. I once again remind you to practice proper handwashing, proper wearing of facemasks, and observe strict physical distancing in and outside your homes. Let us heal as one.
