Talisay City ICT Beneficiaries Receive Stipend Allowance: A Promise Uphold By #Gwapongaserbisyo

It was during the commencement exercises on August 2017 of the ICT Scholars of the City of Talisay when Mayor Neil Lizares, announced the good news for all the beneficiaries. A transportation allowance in the amount of P500.00 will be provided to all ICT scholars in the city.

The City of Talisay releases a total of P129,000 pesos for the ICT Scholars’ transportation allowance. A total of 43 ICT beneficiaries from batches 41 and 42 receive 3,000 pesos each covering the 6 months of complete training.

Presented and recognized during the program are 35 ICT graduates hired by the city under the City Planning and Development Office as enumerators for the Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS), a Bottom-Up-Budgeting project in the city. Sixteen (16) Contact Service Trainees of the Philippine Call Center Institute NC2 and 35 qualified enumerators and editors of ICT Alumni.

The sixteen contact service trainees deliver their words of gratitude to Mayor Neil for all the benefits and privileges given to them and inspirational message focused on how the ICT program of the city have left a significantly change in their lives.

Present during the program are Executive Assistant for Investmeent and Promotion Dr. Frances Mae Llamas, City Social and Development Office Head Elizabeth Mosquera, Assistant Head Dionela Madrona, ICT Center Head Katheryn Rebelica.
