Mayor Neil Lizares IIII with the City of Talisay Clearing Operations Team headed by City Legal Officer Atty. Kirk Andrew Magnabe present before the DILG Regional Validation Team the status report on the road clearing operations conducted in the city pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular no. 2018-121.

The DILG Regional Validation Team headed by DILG Regional Director, Engr. Ariel O. Iglesia, CESO VI are here to validate and certify the compliance and accomplishment of the city in the implementation of the DILG circular.

Atty. Magnabe reports that in the 36 streets in the city, there are about 620 identified obstructions, 60 of which were residential houses and at present were all 100% cleared. Of the 60 demolished houses, 26 were already relocated and awarded their lots, while the remaining ones are processing their documents for their relocation.

Tomorrow, October 3, the Provincial Validation Team will be conducting an On Site validation together with the City of Talisay Clearing Ops Team.
