Talisay Employees Plant Mangrove

Mangrove planting along the shorelines of Barangay Zones 3 and 5, feeding program, zumba fitness, disaster preparedness lecture and relief goods distribution were among the outreach activities conducted by the Green Team in their “Adopt a Community” Outreach program Wednesday, September 20.

About 5,000 seedlings were planted along the shorelines of Brgy. Zones 3 and 5 with nearly 300 children and parent-beneficiaries also from the barangay were accommodated and provided new learning, delicious and nutritious food, goodies and relief stuffs from the team.

Green Team clustered themselves into two groups, one group led the activities in Barangay Zone 3 and the other group spearheaded the action in Barangay Zone 5.

Kudos to the department heads and personnel of the Budget, Treasurer, Business Permit and Licensing, Agriculture, City Social Welfare and Development, Nutrition, Community Affairs, Barangay Affairs, Disaster, Radiant, CDRRMO and National Offices with the ICT Scholars for sponsoring a very noteworthy event.

City Agriculture Head, Jucela Sevilla, City Budget Officer, Annabelle Jocson, CSWDO Head, Elizabeth Mosquera, Nutrition Officer Gemma Gonzaga, EA for Multi Sectoral Concern, Farah Bantug Jayme, CSWDO staff, Rochelle Sausi, Dionela Madrona, Sr/Insp Jenny Mae Masip of the Bureau of Fire, Spyxe L Gutierrez of the CDRRMO, PNP Trainess, together with the personnel and staff in the above mentioned offices joined forces in making such rewarding activity a success.
