Atty. Weng Lizares Speaks Before Talisay’s Future Peer Educator

Atty. Weng Lizares as a women and children's rights advocate speaks before Talisay city's future peer educators, at the Talisay City's Peer Educators Training, spearheaded by the Talisay City Health Office, through its PopCom Section, led by Nurse Jennifer Baradas and City Social Welfare and Development Office, through its Local Youth And Development Section, led by Katherine Rebelica, now happening at the Nature's Village Resort, Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City.

The Peer educators training will enable the attendees to receive learning that will enable them to understand the purpose of the program, know their responsibilities, so that they may become good listeners, able to provide encouragement, motivation, and support healthy decisions and behaviors among their peers who needed help.

The training will also acquaint them on how to know other sources of information and counseling that they may also learn how to ask for assistance and refer other peers for appropriate help.
