MAYOR NEIL LIZARES congratulates the 10 Talisaynon youth teams who will receive Php10,000 each in seed fund, a start up capital to bankroll their proposed community projects.

The 10 barangay teams and their projects are:

1. Dos Hermanas- May Kwarta sa Basura
2. Bubog- Shell Propagation
3. Zone 7- Wealth on Waste
4. Matab-ang- Project See Solar light
5. Zone 10- Negosyanteng Kabataan
6. San Fernando- Katin-aran sa Kawayan Out of School Livelihood
7. Zone 3- Project Basura To Sustain Life
8. Zone 6 - Basura mo Responsibilidad mo
9. Concepcion- Buntis na Teen Resistance and Prevention Program
10. Efigenio Lizares-

Started in 2011, Leadership Communities (LeadCom) harnesses the youth’s potential for leadership and community service by helping them ideate and implement projects that address community issues.

LeadCom is an Ayala Foundation Program in partnership with Local government units, Youth organizations and Youth-serving organizations and since 2019, has program sites in Cagayan de Oro City, Butuan City and Bago City and Talisay City, both in Negros Occidental. It has mentored 40 youth groups and directly reached 245 youth leaders.
