A meeting took place in City Hall today between the representatives of Habitat for Humanity-Philippines and the City of Talisay's Office of Housing and Resettlement with Executive Assistant Atty. Boyet Maghari to discuss the proposed partnership of the foundation with the City for a housing project which will benefit an estimate of 13,000 informal settlers in Talisay.

The Habitat for Humanity-Philippines’ visit is to take the initial step and gather data and the necessary information for the proposed housing program. They are represented by Ms. Sheila Bartolo, Community Organizer Staff, Ms. Arcelle Raagas Balesteros, Program Support Manager for Complex Project (Asia Pacific Habitat for Humanity) and Ashley Macayan-Site Engineer.

Talisay City is one of the priority beneficiary along with the cities of Silay and Victorias, with 152 lots allotted for Talisay beneficiaries.
