New Covered Court Opens at Catabla Baybay Elementary School to Enhance School Facilities

Talisay City continues to strengthen its commitment to education with the turnover of a newly constructed covered court at Catabla Baybay Elementary School on March 24. The facility, officially handed over by Mayor Neil Lizares and Vice Mayor Nic Jalandoni, provides a safe and comfortable space for students and teachers to hold school activities, sports events, and community gatherings. The project, which began on October 12, 2023, and was completed in February 2024, was funded through the Local School Board’s Special Education Fund (SEF) as part of the city's ongoing efforts to enhance learning environments and support student development.

Mayor Neil Lizares conducted an ocular inspection at the newly completed Talisay Super City Health Center, a Php10M project by the Department of Health and 'Gwapongaserbisyo', with fund allocation of Php6M from the DOH and Php4M from the city, this 500SqM Primary Health Care facility is poised to be a game changer in the city's healthcare system.
