First in Talisay: Rugby/American Football Workshop Held at CHMSC

Pass it Back is an innovative Sports for Development program managed by ChildFund in partnership with the Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU), a non-profit national sports association, which focuses on growing and developing the sport of Rugby in the country.The program aims to equip children and young people in Asia to overcome challenges, inspire positive social change and "pass it back" to their communities. The world rugby program aim to grow the game globally, it encourages children and youth to "Try, Play and Stay" in the game.

City of Talisay Hosts OFW Families Annual Mid-Year Assessment and Planning Workshop

Talisay City was chosen to be the venue of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region VI, Annual Mid-Year Assessment and Planning with workshop topics on Basic Book Keeping Training and Capability Building on Developing Effective Communication Skills. This year’s convention was attended by OFW- Family Circle Officers from the different barangays in the city, together with the OFW- Family Circle officers from Valladolid, Escalante and Bacolod City.

City of Talisay Crop Production Assistance Program to Farmers: Turn-Over Various Agricultural Inputs

Mayor Neil Lizares awarded about 2,240 different kinds of vegetable seeds, 10 tons of chicken dung, 300 bags of Triple 14 Fertilizer, 200 liters Free Grower Fertilizer, 100 bags Certified Seeds and 100 Lanzones Seedlings to a total of 350 member farmer beneficiaries from the 18 different Farmers Association duly und allocations, accredited in the City of Talisay.

City of Talisay Barangay Clean-Up Starts with Grass Cutting in Magsaysay Road

From the area of the Talisay Public Cemetery up to the vicinity of Fatima Subdivision, all-the-way up to Barangay Matab-ang, Talisaynons will soon notice a cleaner and wider road as a clear-up and grass cutting drive has been started by the personnel of the Solid Waste Management Office under the direction of Engineer Warren Paduano and Executive Assistant Jerray Bagtas.
