Pass it Back is an innovative Sports for Development program managed by ChildFund in partnership with the Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU), a non-profit national sports association, which focuses on growing and developing the sport of Rugby in the country.The program aims to equip children and young people in Asia to overcome challenges, inspire positive social change and "pass it back" to their communities. The world rugby program aim to grow the game globally, it encourages children and youth to "Try, Play and Stay" in the game.

Talisay City was chosen to be the venue of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region VI, Annual Mid-Year Assessment and Planning with workshop topics on Basic Book Keeping Training and Capability Building on Developing Effective Communication Skills. This year’s convention was attended by OFW- Family Circle Officers from the different barangays in the city, together with the OFW- Family Circle officers from Valladolid, Escalante and Bacolod City.

THE whole City of Talisay with Mayor Neil Lizares feel the pride and congratulates Ceres Negros FC for winning the AFC Cup ASEAN Zone Finals with a 2-0 score over the visiting Home United FC from Singapore in the second leg game at the Panaad Stadium, Wednesday night in Bacolod City.

The newly accredited 50-member civil society organization in the City of Talisay named Ruins, Ayala, Santol, Tumpok Trycicle operator and drivers Association (RASTTODA) took their oath before City Mayor Neil E. Lizares last Monday August 7, 2017 at the City Mayor's Office.

Mayor Neil Lizares awarded about 2,240 different kinds of vegetable seeds, 10 tons of chicken dung, 300 bags of Triple 14 Fertilizer, 200 liters Free Grower Fertilizer, 100 bags Certified Seeds and 100 Lanzones Seedlings to a total of 350 member farmer beneficiaries from the 18 different Farmers Association duly und allocations, accredited in the City of Talisay.

Mr. Jose Antonio "Joe" Chan, the owner of Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company Inc. (BISCOM), met good friends Mayor Neil Lizares III and City Administrator Jonathan Ealdama this morning August 9, 2017 at the City Mayor's Office.

The Gawad Kalinga (GK) Officers including Mr. Amelito Lizares, Butch Villanueva, Ricky Lacson, Cidni Mapa, Bobby Magalona met with City Mayor Neil E. Lizares and discussed several plans for the improvement of the GK Housing Resettlement Site community in Barangay Concepcion, this city.

Mayor Neil E. Lizares III allocated fund for the monthly financial support of the 366 barangay tanods from the different barangays in the city. Said initiative is another 1st for the #gwapongaserbisyo.

From the area of the Talisay Public Cemetery up to the vicinity of Fatima Subdivision, all-the-way up to Barangay Matab-ang, Talisaynons will soon notice a cleaner and wider road as a clear-up and grass cutting drive has been started by the personnel of the Solid Waste Management Office under the direction of Engineer Warren Paduano and Executive Assistant Jerray Bagtas.
