Mayor Neil Lizares III took center court not to play basketball but to open the 1st Super Liga Open Category Basketball Tournament in honor of his office, in an opening extravaganza broadcast in Facebook Live.

Playing assists are SPMs Rolin Meliton and Gab Villacin who are spearheading this basketball league in the hope of making this an annual event to look forward to.
Opening day action will see Team Gab to battle it out with Miggies.

The Super Liga stars to see ball court action are 10 equally talented teams, they are: Abang Lingkod Party List, Patz/Big Boss, Computer Solution -Silay City, Miggies, Davies, Team Gab, LCC Bacolod Blue Panthers/ Davies, UNO-R Rams, USLS-IS and USLS Stingers.
