City of Talisay Quick Response Team Assists Flooded Barangays

BARANGAYS ZONE 6 AND 7 FLOODING MET WITH QUICK RESPONSE FROM CITY AUTHORITIES

Due to the heavy rains and the accompanying high tide level this afternoon, an unexpected increase in the water level was experienced in Barangays Zone 6 and 7 specifically in the vicinity of the Talisay South Elementary School and some houses nearby the drainage areas of the affected barangays.

The Talisay CDRRMO headed by Executive Assistant Mr. Jerray Bagtas, Spyxe Gutierrez, the City's Solid Waste Management Office, Engineering Office and Mr. Renel Garcia were quick in responding to help and assist the affected area in the barangays.

In view of this existing and continually occurring problem plaguing the streets of Talisay, Mayor Neil Lizares III has instructed the review, drafting of a master plan and planned repair of the city-wide drainage system resulting to benefit the many barangays, avoid this kind of disasters and at the same time to ensure the safety and security of Talisaynons in whatever calamity that may occur.

The Lizares administration is highly committed and dedicated in pursuing this as a priority project and inclusively bringing the #gwapongaserbisyo to all.
