Mayor Neil Lizares reports another set of awards conferred to the City of Talisay by the Strategic Technical Assistance and Interaction Resource Sharing (STAIRS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Regional Office VI.

The City Government of Talisay was awarded the Good Practice Citation for CY 2022 Social Protection Local Government Champion in recognition of the city government's exemplary efforts in championing the Localization of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030, awarded on January 31 in Molo, Iloilo City. Likewise, a Certificate of Commendation was also awarded to the City Government of Talisay for its outstanding performance as CY 2022 Social Protection Local Government Champion.

Moreover, Mayor Neil Lizares was awarded the Certificate of Commendation for Social Protection Local Executive Champion for his oustanding leadership and exemplary efforts in the Operationalozation and Mainstreaming of the Social Protection Framework and Social Protection Policy and the Localization of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030 in the city, awarded on September 9, 2022 in Molo, Iloilo City.

In addition, Talisay City Social Welfare and Development Office head, Dionela Madrona also received a Certificate of Commendation for her outstanding performance and valuable contribution as Social Protection Service Delivery Champion, awarded on September 9, 2022 in Molo, Iloilo City.
