Mayor Neil Lizares convened the Talisay Covid-19 Local Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) to map out a plan of action in response to the Timeout Weekend Mass Testing in the City of Talisay which resulted to more than 50 mostly asymptomatic persons testing positive out of the 700 who availed of the RT- PCR mass swab testing against the virus last August 30, 2020.

An expanded contact tracing is ongoing with strict isolation and quarantine health protocols are in place with violators to be apprehended and cases to be filed against them.

Meanwhile, Mayor Neil continues to remind everyone not to let our guards down and not let our sacrifices for the last 6 months put to waste.

The joint meeting this afternoon was attended by Talisay City Health Officer Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon, Executive Assistant and Emergency Operations Center Head Spyxe Gutierrez, Talisay Police Chief Jigger Gimeno, City Administrator Jonathan Ealdama, Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado, Executive Assistant Nicolai Jalandoni, City Legal Officer Kirk Magnabe and Executive Assistant Boy Maramba.
