Talisay City Releases P1.8M Worth Provision Of Crop Production Assistance To Talisay Farmers

A total of 31 organized farmers associations in the City of Talisay will benefit to #gwapongaserbisyo's P1.8M Project for farmers.

Just this morning through the City Agriculture Office headed by Jucella Sevilla, 3 farmers cooperatives, the (1. )Matab ang Farmers and Farmworkers Association, (2. )Balogo Farmers Association and (3.) Herrera Organic Farm and Hda. Alusiman Rice Farmers Association receive their requested Carabao with Bullcart under the City's Provision of Crop Production Assistance with fund allocation of P270K .

This project of the city aims to give assistance to Talisaynon farmers by providing them machineries, agricultural materials and equipment and post harvest facilities for better crop production and to further advance their livelihood.

Turn over of the other components of the crop assistance program which include Distribution of Farm Inputs like rice and vegetable seeds and fertilizers, Distribution of Farm tools and Machineries which include knapsack sprayer, grass cutter, plastic crates, plastic drum, spade, hose, water pump, collapsible dryer, hog weighing scale, buko juice extractor, and Irrigation Support Assistance are underway these coming weeks.
