A Memorandum of Agreement signing was held between the City of Talisay represented by Mayor Neil Lizares III and Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) represented by Vice President Rico Manuel and Assistant Vice President Irish Mediano.

Reynaldo Aquillano of Hacienda Hiyang Hiyang, Barangay Katilingban will be receiving new set of crutches courtesy of #gwaposerbisyo.
The recipients of P3,000 are Sonia Bagaporo, Jasmine Dela Cruz, Ma. Salome Rio, Rolando Rio, Mary Jane Binguan, Citner Persia, Jocelyn Binguan and Amanda Pama.

Joining the program are the vibrant youth representing the different public and private secondary schools in the city. The inspiring young leaders are selected and screened to be part of the Junior City Officials of the City of Talisay in consonance with the celebration of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2018 with the theme "Safe Spaces for Youth."

After the 26-day training program last year on Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC1 in Barangay Zone 2 Barangay Hall Covered Court conducted by accredited training agency Golden Prime Institute for Technology Services Inc., participants received their P2,600.00 Yolanda Rehabilitation and Recovery Program (YRRP) allowance at the TESDA Regional Training Center in Talisay City this morning.

The official records released by the Office of the City Treasurer (CTO) of Talisay certified by City Treasurer Levi Doronila show a robust collection of income for the first half (1H) of 2018.
From January to June 2018, the CTO has already collected Php 110, 822,925.00 or an increase of 16.5% for the same period in 2017 or 73% of its annual local 2018 income target of Php 151,550,904.00.
