I would like to inform the public that I have unfortunately been tested positive for Covid-19.
I currently remain asymptomatic and I would like to reassure everyone that I am taking every step possible to ensure that I stay in good health and will recover successfully from the virus.

MAYOR NEIL LIZARES STATEMENT:This is to inform everyone that the New Talisay City Hall will be closed on April 12 and 13, 2021. This is in line with the recent news that an employee assigned to the Talisay Public Market tested positive for Covid-19. Since the result of the preliminary contact tracing showed that the said employee was able to go to the New Talisay City Hall and made contact with some employees, a thorough disinfection is needed and a stringent contact tracing must be made.
