Education Comes First In Metro Third, TFP Tripartite MOA Signing With Talisay And Victorias

Today spells another victory for Education in the Metro Third District, thanks largely through the efforts of Cong. Albee Benitez.

Just five months after the Program Introduction and Orientation of Teach for the Philippines (TFP) last November 10, 2017, we see today the Tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing between TFP, the Office of Cong. Benitez and the Metro Third Cities of Talisay and Victorias held at the Nature’s Village Resort Hotel, in Talisay City.
This morning’s MOA signing was led by Talisay City Mayor Neil E. Lizares III, Victorias City Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca, Mrs. Margarita L. Delgado, Vice Chair of TFP and SDS Portia M. Mallorca, SDS-DepEd, Division of Negros Occidental.
TFP teachers assigned to Talisay Elementary School and leaving their mark for the next two years are Maryanne Abog of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, Kimberly Shane Ocbina of Ateneo De Naga University and Jufeel Pulvosa of Central Philippine University. Meanwhile, their Victorias City counterpart are Jesson Ordaneza from the University of the Philippines Mindanao, Cecille June Malones of West Visayas State University and Jonalyn Pattalitan of Sto. Rosario Sapang Palay College.
In witness to the Signing are Victorias Vice Mayor Didi Jover, Talisay Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Members Carl Lizares, RJ Tuvilla, Gab Villacin, Randy Ereñeta, Edmundo Celis, SP Secretary Josel Faisan, Assistant City Adminstrator Ismael Paredes Penado, DepEd District 1 Supervisor in Talisay Dr. Romualdo Batallones, and Talisay Elementary School Principal Dr. Julie Ann Guigunto.
