Talisay City Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) Maria Corazon Omero with LGOO II Ana Katrina Bianca Remoto meet with Mayor Neil Lizares to finalize plans for the scheduled one day Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Mandatory Training for all newly-elected SK Officials in the City of Talisay.

The training scheduled on May 21, 2018 at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Bacolod City with a registration of P1,600.00 chargeable against the 10% Youth Development Plan of their respective barangays.

The Sk Mandatory Training is a Pre-requisite for their assumption to office as per Rule V, Sec 30 of RA 10742 IRR, otherwise known as the SK Reform Act of 2015. The failure to attend the training shall be a ground for disqualification.

Also present during the meeting are Budget Officer Annabelle Jocson, City Planning and Development Office Head Marmelo Sausi and Community Affairs Officer Marlyn Simondo.
