In his message, Lizares took the chance of commending and extending his gratitude for the services rendered by the tanods in their respective barangay, contributing to a peaceful and secured community. In return, the mayor opened the floor and gave everyone the chance to raise their concerns and needs, and ask for suggestions that could better help the services for the people of Talisay.

A three–day training is set on November 24-26, 2017 for all the other Barangay Tanods who have not undergone training sponsored by the City of Talisay under the Department of Interior and Local Government–Talisay Office.
