A Launching Ceremony and Blessing of the Negosyo Center Office was held earlier today, October 30, 2018 with DTI Negros Occidental, Provincial Director Leah T. Gonzales and Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist - Negosyo Center Focal Person, Engiemar Tupas with City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama and Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado.

The establishment of the Negosyo Center is another ecomic milestone that would positively bring development, create job opportunities and inclusive growth to all the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the city.

In behalf of Mayor Neil Lizares, City Administrator Jonathan Ealdama and Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado gave their inspirational messages to all the attendees and ecncourage them to continue to work hard, innovate, and be competitive.

The City also is thankful of the opportunity given by the Department of Trade and Industry for granting the project to the city.

With this project, Talisay local producers, will be be able to have a support system and guide for their business, tailored fit according to their needs which include product development, trade promotion, financing facilitation, investment promotion, and SMME counselling. It will also provide them the information on market, suppliers, buyers, government assistance programs and even conduct trainings and seminars, and monitoring and evaluation that will enhance and help their business grow.

Present during the lauching are Sanguniang Panlungsod Members, Rolin Meliton and Edmundo Celiz, and Executive Assistant for LEIPO Frances Mae Llamas.
