City of Talisay conducts 3-Day Skills Enhancement Training for Barangay Tanods on July 17 to July 19, 2019 at the Dela Rama Hall, Talisay City Hall, Talisay City.

A total of 120 newly hired barangay tanods coming from the different barangays in the city attend the 3 - Day mandatory training required by the DILG.

The participants will undergo intensive training on Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Theories, Fire Drill exercises, Personality Development, Community Relations, Human Rights Violations, Special and Enforceable Laws, Arrest Techniques, Crime Prevention and Investigation, Information and Report Gathering, Self Defense Tactics, Basic First Aid, Tios on Disaster Preparedness, Emergency Response, Their Duties and Functions as Barangay Tanods, Drug Clearing, Characteristics of Good Governance and inputs on the Barangay Structures and.its Barangay Based Institutions (BBIs).
