Today's Monday program gives due honor, acknowledgment and remuneration to both the young generation and to our dear elderly. Joining the program are the vibrant youth representing the different public and private secondary schools in the city. The inspiring young leaders are selected and screened to be part of the Junior City Officials of the City of Talisay in consonance with the celebration of  the Linggo ng Kabataan 2018 with the theme "Safe Spaces for Youth."

Given due honor is a Talisaynon centenarian, the 100 years old Lola Salvacion Cabia of Purok Balunggay, Barangay Dos Hermanas.

Lola Salvacion, received her P10,000.00 Longevity Assistance from #gwapongaserbisyo. With Lola Salvacion are her family, Artemio Cabia (son), Crisanta Gargavite (daughter) and Maria Delia Cabia (daughter in law).

Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado welcomed the Junior City Officials who have graced the Monday's program, in his message, he reminded the youth of the importance of practicing proper waste segregation and to become responsible and vigilant environment warriors.
