Talisay City Health Office headed by City Health Officer Dr. Joy Gladys Guanzon conducts a 4 Day Seminar Workshop on the Basic Health Services of the Department of Health attended by the Barangay Health workers in the city, held at the Minuluan Hall.
The seminar workshop aims to inform and acquaint Talisay BHWs of the Basic Health Services offered by the Department of Health. Making them well-informed of the services will enable them to provide adequate information to Talisaynon clients, especially those who are in dire need of assistance.

BACOLOD CITY -- Nineteen-year-old Roxanne Toleco of Talisay City won the coveted Lin-ay sang Negros 2019 title, besting 25 other candidates during the pageant night held at the Panaad Park and Stadium here Friday.

Quick-witted Roxanne Toleco of Talisay City, whose advocacy on education and the community made her stand out, was crowned Lin-ay sang Negros at the jam-packed Panaad Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, last night.

The 19-year-old psychology student of the University of St. La Salle bested 25 other candidates from the cities and towns of Negros Occidental during the coronation night. She was a crowd favorite as the audience screamed every time she took the stage.
