Mayor Neil calls every Talisaynon to be united for a peaceful, clean and honest Barangay and SK elections.

First Monday of May, Talisay City Government holds Flag raising ceremony at the Talisay Public Plaza, starting the week full packed of positive vibes and good news to be proud of.

Talisay PNP joins City of Talisay on its 1st Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the City Public Plaza.

Today's flag ceremony is indeed exceptional, with the roster of Talisaynons worthy of recognition and honor, starting off with the outstanding graduates of the Pamilya Pantawid Program (PPP) Talisay beneficiaries. These students were able to finish college and earn a degree and a number of them graduated Cum laude. The #gwapongaserbisyo provided for the transportation allowances for the parents of the graduates during their graduation ceremony and as announced, the following graduates will also receive cash incentives from Mayor Neil.

Also given recognition is Mr. Quinquero,a trisikad driver. Mr. Quinquero returned the pouch containing important documents and money to the rightful owner after the latter left his valuables in his trisikad. His honesty and good deed is rewarded by the city with a Pangkabuhayan Showcase, The #gwapongaserbisyo is grateful for people like Mr. Quinquero, hence, may he continue to serve as a role model for the community and to the young generation as well.

Winners from the recently concluded Panaad Sa Negros 2018 are also recognized. Mr. Hermano Percival of Barangay San Fernando was adjudged as Outstanding Carabao Raiser and the Talisay Rural Improvement Club was proclaimed as Most Outstanding RIC in the Province of Negros Occidental.

Also, Mayor Neil Lizares leads the turn over of the 1st batch of bullet vests for the Talisay PNP. Turn-over of water hydrant to Barangay Zone 4. Said Water Hydrant is now installed at Corner Capt. Sabi and Burgos Streets, Barangay Zone 4. Thanks to the Talisay Water District for providing the water pipes and installation of the water hydrant in the said barangay.
