Mayor Neil E. Lizares III Talks About Commitment, Coopearation and Positive Change in Today's Flag Raising Ceremony

Today’s Flag Ceremony is a jumpstart for positive and productive days ahead. Mayor Neil E. Lizares III focuses on commitment to service, building trust and cooperation towards the realization of the vision of the #gwapongaserbisyo to all Taliseños.

As Mayor Neil said, “Kaupod sa Gobyerno, kamo gahatag positibo nga pagbag –o para sa Syudad sang Talisay, with your Commitment, passion and dedication. Indi ko masarangan kun ako lang isa, but tungod sa inyo, mabatyagan sang pumuluyo ang positibo nga pagbag –o sa Syudad sang Talisay.” this administration is doing all the bests for Talisay, thus Mayor Neil, asks every Talisaynon for patience, perseverance and continued support and cooperation for his administration.

Department Heads were acknowledged of their performances. Mayor Neil also talked about the different accomplishment last week. The possible investments from FILINVEST and MR. Joe Chan that would result to job opportunities for every Talisaynons and the upcoming programs for the GK Resettlement Area in Cabatangan are among the future projects here in the city. He also gave updates on the skills training conducted by the City Cooperative Office, spearheaded by Maam Caroline Tabianan, the on-going TESDA Courses thru the CPDO and the Agricultural support given to 18 Farmers Cooperatives under the BUB-Funded Program of the Department of Agriculture, thru Maam Jucela Sevilla.

During the program, Mayor Neil turned over T-Shirts for the use of the CVO’s in the city and the awarding of cash grants to senior citizens ages 80 and 90 years old. Farmer Cooperatives are encouraged to send their priority projects for approval. This initiative also goes with the 27 barangays and School heads in the city. Through this, the #Gwapongaserbisyo will be able to deliver the services based on their respective necessities.

Mayor Neil ended the program with a quote saying, “NO AMOUNT OF WATER CAN SINK THE SHIP, UNLESS YOU ALLOW THE WATER TO GO INSIDE.” - Focus on the positive, let’s trust each other and work together for a better Talisay.
