Another big player in Philippine business opened shop in Talisay, Wilcon Depot, the country's largest home improvement and construction supplies retailer chain.

In a show of trust and confidence in the business and investment climate in the City, goverment officials led by Mayor Neil, Vice Governor Bong Lacson, SPM's Randy Ereñeta, Rolin Meliton and RJ Tuvilla, with Wilcon Founder and chair William Belo, COO Rosemarie Ong and President Lorraine Belo-Cincochan assisted in the ribbon cutting ceremony and welcomed the public in a timely payday-Friday opening celebration.

WLCON's share price closed Friday at 7.94, a 57% increase from IPO price of 5.05 listed March 10, 2017.
