Mayor Neil Lizares recognizes the seven ESGPPA grantees who have just graduated from college this school year 2017-2018.

Three of the scholars graduated with flying colors, Graduate Cum laude from CAPSU-Main Campus are Rodney Alati-it of Barangay Zone 16, Cesar Ariola Jr. of Barangay Zone 6 and Jojo Diotay of Barangay Zone 15 from CAPSU –Pontevedra Campus. All three receive P5,000.00. Meanwhile, Hazel Carrera of Barangay Zone 2, Nolan Escuadro of Barangay Cabatangan of CHMSC-Main Campus and , Derrick Jamora of Barangay Zone 1 from CAPSU Main Campus each receive P3,000.00 cash incentive from the Office of the City Mayor.

Said cash incentive is given in recognition of all the hard work and perseverance said scholars have endured just to earn a degree and for all the hardships encountered being a member of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries.

In behalf of Mayor Neil Lizares, Private Secretary to the Mayor for Tourism, Culture and Arts Rene Lacson hand-over the cash assistance to the beneficiaries, also present during the awarding are CSWD Head Elizabeth Mosquera, Gerome Garbo - City Action Team Leader (City of Talisay), City Social Welfare and Development Assistant Head Ms. Dionela Madrona and CSWD staff Marivic Kikuchi.
