Mayor Neil Lizares III joins the whole Talisay DayCare Community in celebrating DayCare Day.

Highlight of today's event is the coronation of "Kiddie King and Queen 2018". Said activity is spearheaded by the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development with Head, Elizabeth Mosquera and Assistant Head, Dionela Madrona.

In his message Mayor Neil posses a challenge to all the parents to continue to be supportive to all of their children's endeavors and at the same time asks for cooperation in all of the programs of the local government, and for the Child Development Workers, to continue to strive for service excellence.

On the part of the #gwapongaserbisyo, Mayor Neil vowed to continually provide for all the necessary support and aid needed in the enhancement of the daycare workers' capabilities and skills through trainings, exposures and bench markings for the adoption of bests practices of other cities and municipalities.

The Daycare centers in the City of Talisay through #gwapongaserbisyo will be recipient of numerous worthy projects, starting off with the construction of additional daycare centers in Hacienda Alasigan, Barangay Matab-ang and Barangay Zone 7, School supplies will be provided by the #gwapongaserbisyo to a total of 1,585 daycare students come, next school year 2018-2019. Old and dilapidated daycare centers will undergo a total make over finishing off with uniform facade. P1,000.00 will be released to all daycare centers for the purchase of 2 burner stoves to be utilized by the teachers for their students and lastly, all learning materials and devices will be procured and provided to all the daycare centers in the city by the local government.

Having all of these supports, the daycare centers in Talisay will be a conducive place and a great avenue for learning and development for every Talisaynon daycare students.
