Mayor welcomes coastal road

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia yesterday welcomed the proposed construction of a coastal road traversing Bacolod, Talisay, Silay and Victorias cities and E.B. Magalona town in Negros Occidental.

Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3 rd District) and Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya filed a bill providing for the construction of the coastal road at the House of Representatives on March 13.

Lizares Bares Major Projects in Talisay

Talisay City - Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares yesterday bared major projects for Talisay City including plans for a 100-hectare reclamation project for city’s relocation site.

Mayor Lizares to Prioritize Revival of ATLETA Program

Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares, during the courtesy visit of city-based taekwondo players who won medals in the recently-concluded 40th Smart National Taekwondo Championships, stressed that his administration will revive the Administered Training Leading to the Empowerment of Talisay Athletes (ATLETA) program – which was among the priorities of the late Mayor Antonio Lizares.
