City of Talisay Quick Response Team Assists Flooded Barangays

BARANGAYS ZONE 6 AND 7 FLOODING MET WITH QUICK RESPONSE FROM CITY AUTHORITIES

Due to the heavy rains and the accompanying high tide level this afternoon, an unexpected increase in the water level was experienced in Barangays Zone 6 and 7 specifically in the vicinity of the Talisay South Elementary School and some houses nearby the drainage areas of the affected barangays.

Talisay Beneficiaries Get @Senso Metro 3rd District Tabang Sa Kalisod - Integrated Burial Assistance Program

Since the launching of the Asenso Metro 3rd District Tabang sa Kalisod- Integrated Burial Assistance Program on July 15, 2017, many families have been reached by the said program. As per records, a total of 16 beneficiaries from the City of Talisay benefited from the said project.

Bredco eyeing to reclaim 2,000 hectares in Talisay

THE Bacolod Real Estate Development Corp. (Bredco), through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), is eyeing a 2,000-hectare reclamation project in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Talisay City Mayor Nilo Jesus Antonio Lizares on Monday, July 24, said he and Vice Mayor Samuel Siote and the members of the City Council are set to hold a preliminary meeting with the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).

City Of Talisay Gave Recognition To 78 Talisaynon Blood Galloners: Ordinary Persons Doing Extraordinary Deed By Donating Blood

The City Government of Talisay recognizes the Heroic deeds of the so called “life line “providers also known as “Blood Galloners” (blood donors who donated blood ten times or a total of 4,000cc of blood) who consistently donated blood to save lives today, July 25, 2017 at Talisay Public Plaza. With this years’ Theme: “What can you do? Give Blood, Give Now, Give Often”, seventy eight (78) Talisaynon BLOOD GALLONERS were given due recognition and each of them were given certificate of appreciation in acknowledgment of their good deeds and concern for others. Objective of the recognition is to commend these voluntary blood donors who make up the foundation of safe blood supply. Furthermore it is also aimed in inspiring others to imitate those who freely and voluntarily offer a bit of themselves to those who are in need of blood. These Blood Galloners are the source of equitable and sustainable blood supply not just for the City of Talisay but in the province as well, where the need for blood supply is steadily increasing every year.
