Mayor Neil E. Lizares III, assists DOLE-NIR officers and staff in the turn-over of the P1.5 million cheque to the 150 beneficiaries of Barangay Katilingban, Talisay City.

The 1.5 million pesos swine production project will benefit 150 parents of child laborers in the said barangay. The livelihood project will be closely monitored by the Office of the DOLE-NIR.

The DOLE-NIR will be assisting the beneficiaries from swine selection, immunization, proper procedures and techniques in swine production until the time it will be disposed.

The DOLE-NIR Asst. Regional Director, Atty. Jason P. Balaris, Chief NOCFO, Mary Agnes N. Capigon and Livelihood Focal Officer, Ma. Vic Diwata B. Barines spearheaded the turnover. Barangay Katilingban Punong Barangay Jude Abellana with Barangay Kagawads Elbert Pascual, Mansueto Pascual, Ponciano Pascual, Reynato Pascual and Barangay Treasurer Mario Tajonera together with the beneficiaries are all present during the turn-over ceremony at the Mayor's Office.
